Magnificent view over Lake Constance with good resting opportunities

An enchanting hike awaits you, especially in spring, when nature at
Bodensee already radiates spring. The starting point of this route is the idyllic
Sipplingen, on the shores of Lake Constance. From here, the trail first leads along the
main road, past the charming half-timbered houses of the village. After a short
section along Rathausstraße, the trail heads uphill through the picturesque Morgengasse in
the direction of Hödingen. At the information board at the sports field, turn left and follow a
narrow path that leads to Burghalde. After you have passed the fence, look out for
a trail that leads steeply uphill.

From the ruins, you get your first taste of the beauty of the tour. After
you have crossed the ruin, the path winds its way down the eastern slope
in serpentines. At the junction with the hiking trail, turn right and follow the
path until you reach the road to Hödingen again. Continue for around 200
meters and then turn off in the direction of the imposing Churfirsten, a
natural monument whose bizarre rock cones are easy to miss. Follow the
hiking trail in the direction of the Hödinger Tobel. At the farmhouse, the little road
turns off to the right, while the hiking trail leads into the forest on the right.

The trail continues past the fish pond in the direction of Haldenhof. On the idyllic
Zimmerwiese, benches invite you to take a relaxing break. The direct route to Haldenhof is now clearly signposted
. Alternatively, you can also take the route via Sipplinger Berg
. After arriving at the Haldenhof, it is advisable to take time for a break at
and enjoy the view.

After another stop at a beautiful viewpoint, the trail leads through
shady serpentines back towards Sipplingen. In summer, the lake invites you to cool off at
